💡Practical Veneer Tips

Corner tip: Buy corner pieces by the total linear foot of every outside corner, not by area. One L-shaped corner wraps two faces, so counting them as flats leaves you short at the edges.
Bond tip: Back-butter each thin brick and comb thinset on the wall for full mortar coverage. Full contact prevents hollow spots, so plan closer to 40 sq ft per bag on exterior walls.

When most folks think “brick wall,” they picture a solid heavy structure sunk deep into building’s foundation. Thin brick veneer provide the appearance of masonry but it isn’t structurally sound (nor does it take as long to install). It feels like real clay brick warmth and texture on walls only inches thick. How to Plan Your Brick Veneer Project
