Use include-both for normal date ranges. If a schedule says July 1 through September 30, both boundary dates usually count when their weekdays match.
Switch to month mode for roster checks. It prevents accidentally stopping on the 30th in a 31-day month or carrying dates from a previous scenario.
Check the remainder row when results surprise you. The extra occurrence beyond whole weeks always comes from the first one to six days after the adjusted start.

How many Mondays are in this month? That’s a question every event planner, payroll specialist, and project manager has answered, only to discover that their answer was wrong. Sometimes it’s just one too few (or perhaps one too many), a minor math trap we all stumble into from time to time.

In most cases, it isn’t so much the number of days that is important as the particular days that falls within a period. For an event, five class days are very different than four; for payroll, five pay periods is also quite distinct. How to Count Weekdays Easily
