💡Practical tips
Partial days: When start and end are on the same date, the calculator uses the overlap between the two times and the scheduled shift, then subtracts only a proportional break.
Holidays: A listed holiday is removed only when it lands on a selected workday inside the counted range. Weekend holidays do not double-subtract time.
Breaks: Enter unpaid break time, not paid rest periods. If your daily scheduled hours already exclude breaks, set break hours to zero.
Rounding: Rounding happens after holiday, break, extra-closure, and partial-day adjustments so the final total stays consistent.
